MY INSPIRATIONI have been singing all my life, it's my passion, my life.To me there is no greater feeling than to entertain, to excite and to see people enjoying themselves my aim is for my shows is to take you away from all the troubles , the stress and to 'let your hair down' 'sing along' 'dance and have a good time'.BIOGRAPHYI started singing professionally at the tender age of 16, one of five children, with two older brothers both being professional musicians.My first paid tour was playing drums and backing vocals for the world acclaimed ABBA show 'Abbamania' this took me all over the UK & Europe touring for over six years, on this tour I met the guys from 'The Royal Family' the Ultimate tribute to Queen, I auditioned for the part of 'Freddie Mercury' and got the job. Five years of constant touring and TV appearences 'TRF' took me all over the world.I honed his skills and confidence playing in front of large audiences culminating in the largest 'Tribute' show ever put on, a six week tour of Japan playing to well over 100,000 people on that tour alone.After the 'Royal Family' days were behind me, I joined my brothers band 'Blaze of Glory' at this time they were well established on the UK scene and I took them to the next level playing to large audiences all over the UK, with a national tour of Yates and Hard rock Cafe's.I have also toured with the 'Whole Lotta Metal' theatre production to wide acclaim singing alongside Black Sabbath singer Tony Martin and Carl Sentance from Krokus/Rainbow.Up to date now, I am currently performing solo shows performing at events up and down the country and also performs with my older brother Simon in the highly succesfull Duo show 'MoretoN' performing rock / pop covers from a wealth of famous artists.I am a vastly versatile performer with a voice & personality to match.Book me Matt Moreton and you will not be dissapointed.
